Q: How do I switch from one product to another (granular to liquid etc.)?
A: Press system button, scroll down until service is highlighted press enter, scroll down until configuration is highlighted press enter, highlight channel configuration and change product.
Q: How do I adjust the volume of the alarm?
A: Press system button, scroll down until service is highlighted press enter, scroll down until volume adjust is highlighted press enter, adjust.
Q: Can I use the LMSE as a slave to a mapping program?
A: No, you would have to upgrade to the Land Manager one or two for this application.
Q: Can I use my old CCS switch module instead of the Land Manager switch module?
A: No. The LMSE has to use a LMSE switch module.
Q: Can I use my old CCS harnessing with the LMSE?
A: Yes, you will have to purchase the retro harness to do so.
Q: I am having trouble seeing the screen is there anyway to adjust it?
A: Yes, make sure the channel is not highlighted, press the green up and down arrows to adjust.
Q: How do I calibrate the ground speed?
A: Mark a starting point, measure off 400 feet, make a stopping point. Press the system button, highlight ground speed and press enter, scroll down to start cal and press enter, push enter when done. When doing a ground speed calibration you must be moving when you pass the starting point and maintain a steady speed throughout the course. DICKEY-john recommends that you run the course three times and average the numbers to put in the console. If you have purchased a DICKEY-john I speed sensor the calibration number will be given to you.
Q: I have lost my ground speed signal, is there any way to override the system?
A: Yes, press the system button, scroll down to service and press enter, scroll down to system overrides and press enter, highlight ground speed and press enter, press enter again to override.
Q: Where do I set my ground speed override?
A: Press setup, scroll down until manual speed is highlighted press enter and enter speed, after you have set the speed you want be sure to press enter again to save it.
Q: How often should I run an autogain?
A: One time, or anytime a valve or sensor is replaced.
